I'm not saying you are 'wrong' or that this mod isn't an improvement (it is!), but I am saying that you are not necessarily applying your algorithm as described, so I think you either should make the changes (i.e., due to mistakes) or note that some of your changes are arbitrary (due to personal bias).Īs you mention, we have factual data that for humans, females are statistically-significantly shorter on average than males. If it's changes feel natural enough that they are passed over, then the mod is successful, imo. In that respect Lore Friendly Height was successful on most accounts besides that Bosmer Examining the mod a bit further, I wanted to nitpick a couple of remaining/introduced inconsistencies. But that is sort of the goal with a mod like this. The differences become forgettable after the initial noticing of the changes. We were testing Lore-Friendly Heights, but the male Bosmers where just too small. So if Nord males are set to 1.05, then all male nords in the game will be 1.05. There is a height setting for each race and separately between male and females for each of those. The game doesn't allow random deviations. I read the mod page description, but did not see anything other than size scales (e.g., 1.0). I assume there is variability by race? So nords may be taller on average, but following a more/less normal distribution within the 'nord' height category? I'm all for it if it doesn't introduce new issues with clothing/armor/whatever. The Alfiq can be seen poised ready for action in full steel plate armour and mage robes as regular Khajiit bandits chase them down.I like anything that increases lore-based accuracy (even though i am no lore expert).

It’s not yet clear how well they’ll fare taking on the dragons, draugr, and the Dark Brotherhood of Skyrim, but from the accompanying pictures, it looks like they’re more than willing to give it a go. While you’ll be able to see them around Skyrim as non-playable passers-by, the best part is you can recruit them to follow you on your adventures. The Creatures of Nirn: Khajiit Alfiq mod by creator DracoWarrior729 adds the ferociously clever – and frankly style-savvy – felines to Tamriel’s snowiest region, which is a big deal considering TES lore says they’re not fond of leaving the sunny climes of their homeland. You know, the Khajiit that look just like big, adorable house cats. The Elder Scrolls Online might be heading to Skyrim with Greymoor, its next Chapter, but you can still bring some Elsweyr to The Elder Scrolls V thanks to a mod that adds Khajiit Alfiq as NPCs and followers.
